Art Blogroll Custom Dollies Dolls momoko obitsu

New redhead obitsu on eBay

Good morning all! Happy Monday. Already have tons to do. My momoko today is Yukata Summer. I have her redressed. When I first got her my daughter thought it was a doll of her. This was the first doll I got and set me on my path to collecting momokos. And I looked at her and realized that she does look like my daughter and that’s probably why I fell in love with her. What’s funny is that another japanese doll called Blythe is a spitting image of my friend’s daughter. I kept seeing that when I would look through the doll coordinate recipe books that has pictures of the different japanese dolls. So when I showed my friend the book, since she knows how to sew, she immediately noticed the Blythe dolls and oooed and awed over them. I told her how I thought Blythe looked like her daughter and she immediately agreed. It’s funny what gets us started on these collections.

In the dolly projects, I finished another obitsu doll. I spent the better part of Saturday working on her. I’m selling her with just her stockings and pumps. Click here to view or bid.
