Still Busy

Dream Girls

Well, I’m pretty swamped as of late so I haven’t been able to post as much but decided to take a break today and get some quick shots of my dollies. My momokos of the day are brand new and oh so dreamy. My 04ANlw arrived earlier this week and she’s as amazing as they say. I changed out her stock Coco body for a spare sekiguchi body and now she’s even more amazing. The other doll is NOT BT06 red in case anyone thought it might be. She’s a new reroot that I’ve been working on here and there in my spare time and I purposely set out to make her look like the highly coveted BT06 red because I’ve been dying for one of those but I haven’t won the lottery yet and she’s not going for cheap when she does show up on yahoo Japan. So… necessity is the mother of the perfect dolly and here she is. I can’t say she’s a carbon copy but she’s close enough to keep me happy for a while. Sorry, she’s not for sale but if you want one like her just find a CCS 06SS hazy wind cool white and then commision me to do one. I just love this hair color. Kathy from Restoredoll.com helped me decipher a similar match to the BT06 red. I ordered several skeins of this combo and I just know there some more dolly heads waiting for me to make them this color.

Well, back to work and family and Happy Easter and Passover to everyone who celebrates. I believe there’s a Chinese Holiday too so Happy Holidays to our dolly friends in the far east.

Hi Sylvie,
I found your blog not so long ago and I really love your postings, it’s great to be able to find time for dolls! I love your latest reroot, I wish I have that elusive BT06 red too and it’s mighty smart of you to reroot a doll to make a replica!! Great work!
