This is Lovely Folklore who had originally been without bangs and new lipstick. I like her much better this way. She is available for sale and as soon as I can figure out why she’s not showing up on my sale page she’ll be available there as well. Before then you can always contact me through flickr mail or email.

I plan on getting to some blythes here pretty soon. I like the change of pace to keep things interesting. I’m excited for the arrival of Dainty Biscuit and hopefully I’ll have some more time to take some B pics next week amid the re-root and repaint commissions still waiting. Here’s one of my latest commissions- another Beach Rodeo. She’s the most popular one ot re-root. They just don’t have enough tan momokos that are reasonably priced. There is Wild Sexy tune but she’s not too popular with collectors. Hopefully Sekiguchi will make more tan girls in the future.

Back again!

It’s been a busy busy month including a trip to visit family back east. I’ve been so busy with re-roots and I haven’t had much time to take nice pics of every one of them so today I have my Dhexs copy. She was a 02cm head that was already bald. Since her screening is very similar to the original dhexs, I decided to make her into the very expensive doll. This one is a keeper.

The great thing is my Petworks Momoko collection is growing. I’ve aquired 02kf in a trade and also got 02spk. I plan on taking a group pic of all the Petworks girls. I’m not sure I’ll try to collect all of them but thankfully there is an end to it if I did try getting all of them. But their new brand name Close-Clipped Sheep is still producing and thankfully they only come out 2 to 3 times a year.

I think I’m starting to get more selective about my dolls so that I have quality over quantity. Especially with Blythes that come out with new girls every month. Otherwise, we’d be in the poor house!

Well back to work to pay for my dolly addictions and some bills too…

Pushing through

Here’s Darling Denim. Believe it or not, she’s re-rooted to be the same style but with the nice soft Katsilk hair instead of the wiry hair that Sekiguchi usually uses. I had to curl her hair several times to get it this way and it probably needs the dolly hair equivalent of hair spray because one thing about the stock hair is that it does hold a curl really well.

I had a friend come over Friday to help me organize my workspace. It still has a long ways to go as far as making everything functional and kid proof but now I’ve got a nice clean desk and I hope to keep it this way.

It’s back to work for me. Still pluggin’ away at the re-root commissions. I did take a quick break last weekend so I could work on Blythe but she’s still due for a hair cut before she’s completely done. Here she is- another custom V-Smash.
